Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Effective 22 August 2026 · Last updated 22 August 2026

Short answer: there is nothing to opt out of. Heal Within Magazine does not sell your personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA. We have never done so, and we have no advertising technology on this site that would make it possible.

Why this page exists anyway

California law expects a clear, findable link. Rather than link you to a switch that does nothing, this page states the position plainly and tells you how to exercise the rights that do apply.

What we do collect

Standard server logs from our hosting provider (including IP address), anything you email us, and your address if you subscribe to the newsletter. Full detail, including CPRA categories and retention, is in the Privacy Policy. We do not collect sensitive personal information, and we do not use personal information to infer characteristics about you.

Your California rights

  • Right to know what we have collected, the sources, the purposes and any recipients.
  • Right to access a copy in a portable form.
  • Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to delete, subject to the narrow legal exceptions.
  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing — not applicable here, because we do neither.
  • Right to limit use of sensitive personal information — not applicable, because we collect none.
  • Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of the above. Nothing about this site changes if you do.

How to make a request

Email privacy@healwithinmagazine.com with the words "California privacy request" and tell us what you want. We will verify you control the email address involved, and respond within 45 days — extendable once by a further 45 with notice. Requests are free. An authorised agent may act for you with written proof of authorisation and verification of your identity.

Global Privacy Control

We honour GPC signals as an opt-out request. Because we do not sell or share, no processing changes when we receive one — but the signal is recognised and respected.

Shine the Light

California Civil Code §1798.83 lets residents request details of personal information disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We make no such disclosures.
